Warranty Period

With a focus on learning and continuous improvement, our warranty policy is a reflection of our company and the brands that we represent. All products have a three year limited warranty from the date of purchase for defects incurred under normal usage. However, we ask that the product in question is returned so that the cause of the defect can be determine and that information can then be used to make improvements to build a better product.

What does a limited

warranty cover?

The limited warranty covers defects in material or workmanship of products subjected to normal usage during the warranty period. This warranty is non-transferable and extends only to the original purchaser.

What is normal use and maintenance?

This term refers to the product being used as it was originally designed and intended.

What will Northstar Load Cell and Scale do to correct the problem?
During the warranty period, we will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that prove defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance. For products returned during the first year of the warranty period, we will cover the shipping costs.. During the last two years of the warranty period, such costs will be covered by the purchaser.

What does the limited warranty not cover?

The limited warranty will not cover:

  • Conditions, malfunctions or damage that did not occur as a result of defects in material or workmanship.

  • Any conditions, malfunctions or damage that occurred as a result of the improper application or usage of products.

  • Non-defective products.
